Triple-C project third meeting and Research Mission (Vila Real, 27-28 February 2020)

The third project coordination meeting and the second Research Mission of Triple-C project was hosted by University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro- UTAD on 27th and 28th February 2020 in Vila Real (Portugal).

The first day, the University organised the second Research Mission, a networking workshop focused on the theme “Nature and Health Promotion to Face Climate Change”. Five representatives from several successful European projects shared with the audience their main results and successful experiences. The seminar started with the welcome of some UTAD’s representatives and ended with a debate section among both the speakers and the audience. The programme can be consulted below.

After the workshop, the keynote speakers, along with the project partners, were invited to visit Quinta de Ventozelo, where they had the opportunity to exchange experiences in a more informal environment.

During the second day, partners organised the third coordination meeting, where the project Steering committee discussed the project progress. The partnership addressed both the project financial and technical aspects, while had the opportunity to discuss and plan the methodology of coming activities within the work plan, including some key decisions regarding the Triple-C platform, one of the main project outputs.

Triple – C project (, co-financed by the INTERREG Atlantic Area Programme 2014-2020, was conceived as a capitalization initiative focused on analysing, evaluating and exploiting the best EU projects in risk management in the context of climate change. It aims to disseminate and transfer the best practices and results identified in this domain, with the goal of integrating policy formulation.
